The 55th Fighter Squadron "Warriors" was established in 1978 at Hellebron Air Base to bolster Erusea's tactical aviation capabilities. Initially flying Mirage III fighters, the squadron earned its "Warriors" nickname for their relentless training and combat excellence. Transitioning to the F/A-18C Hornet in the 1990s, they became a premier multirole unit, partnering closely with the co-located 45th Fighter Squadron "Desert Vipers" to master joint air superiority and strike operations.
During the Continental War of 2004, the Warriors played a critical role, notably intercepting ISAF bombers in the "Desert Saber" engagement, protecting vital resources at great personal cost. Post-war, they modernized their tactics and equipment, maintaining readiness and enhancing cooperation with the Desert Vipers.

Start in CONCHES, fly east and search for the enemy artillery. The position of the artillery is marked on the map.

2* M12 GMC (SC 500 J bomb is strongly recommended!)
5* M2A1 Gun (Cannons are perfect)

Once all the artillery has been destroyed, the ground forces will advance and attack the remaining ground units. Your mission ends after the artillery has been completely destroyed.

The mission also includes a bonus mission that triggers an enemy bomber attack. However, this only becomes active once the main objective of the mission has been successfully completed and landed safely!

Authorities are quickly informed and a ground based rescue team as well as an Apache helicopter (“Splitter”) are scrambled for a rescue operation.

Depicted is a Luftwaffe F-4F-53-MC, 37+22, SN 72-1132, CN 3722 of JG71 (formerly JG72) in painted in NORM 81B camouflage circa 1992. It would subsequently be painted in the NORM 90J scheme. It was freshly re-painted in that scheme for participation as one of four Phantoms in the "Heritage Flight for the Phantom Pharewell send-off celebration on June 27, 2013 at Wittmundhafen Air Base, Germany. All Phantoms were subsequently retired from service with the Luftwaffe. At that point, 37+22 had accumulated nearly 7,100 flight hours in its years of service.

REVISED 1/2/25: Fixed mistake on serial number on vert stab.
REVISED 2/1825: Added the orange flight suit to the first person pilot view. The default command to turn the pilot body on / off is LShft+P.

Fifty years after the RAF had defended RAF Habbaniya, what would become modern-day Al Taqqadum Air Base, they returned. This time, it was to attack the very base they fought for. Running at low-level, RAF Tornado GR1s denied the two runways at Al Taqqadum, surrounded by SAMs and AAA fire.

You'll re-enact this mission, using a fictional RAF F-15 to simulate the Tornado. You'll approach a AAA-lit Al Taqqadum, deny its two runways, and engage a pair of Interceptors.

In 1941 a small flying school at RAF Habbaniya - modern day Al Taqqadum Air Base - found itself at the centre of control for the Middle East. Besieged by Iraqi Nationalist Forces, who were supplied and equipped by Nazi Germany, this handful of RAF officers and students, as well as their ground crews, fought off ground offenses literally just yards from their camp, aerial bombardment, and strafed enemy positions and airfield.

You'll fly as one of the junior students in the middle of the conflict. Germans are resupplying Iraqi positions near Fallujah by train. You'll be tasked with its interdiction. You and your Flight Leader will disable the train, fight off bandits, and defend RAF Habbaniy

Established in the mid 1980s during a period of heightened tensions within Usea; The 182nd Fighter Squadron ‘Falcons’ would become a vital aspect of the country's air dominance strategy. First seeing Action against insurrectionist forces in 1997, the Squadron would earn their colors in 2003 during the initial Invasion into the Usean continent. The Squadron would secure vital air corridors against ISAF forces, only being forced to surrender with the fall of the Whiskey Corridor in 2005.

In the Interwar period, the squadron would be downsized, to the point of deactivation, until 2018 saw the rapid expansion of the Royal Erusean Air Force. Forced to fly aircraft that had been pulled from the boneyard, the Squadron would be tasked during the Lighthouse War with interdicting Osean bombers sent to attack key Military Facilities.

Today the Squadron operates alongside its sister unit, the 171st TFS at Neuville Airbase in eastern Erusea.

Arkansas ANG flew the F-16A's fr om 1988-2001, when they transitioned to F-16C's. These five jets are based around photos from 1991-1993. It includes 82-0911, 82-0920- 82-0927, 82-0970, and 82-0980. Disclaimer: The font on the rear wh ere it says 'Flying Razorbacks' is not 100% accurate, I cannot find a high quality photo to trace the outline, so I did the best I could for the time being, I apologize. Pilot names are correct on the planes and dirt/scratches are added based off the photos I could find. To state the obvious these are semi-fictional as they really fly A models, but it's close enough for me to decide and make them. Hope you all enjoy and as always let me know if there are any obvious mistakes or if you have any photos of any 188th FW planes of any era, thank you!

The aircraft with the registration OK-JAX is a 1982 Bacau-manufactured Yak-52, with the construction number 822710.
This particular Yak-52 has had several registrations over the years, including RA-44460, LY-AHE, and 127 YELLOW.
It is currently registered in the Czech Republic.
The Yak-52 is known for its aerobatic capabilities and is often used in airshows and aerobatic competitions.
It is powered by a single Ivchenko Vedeneyev M-14P radial engine.

In this scenario you will play as Cpt Miller, a real life F15 pilot who established a CAP not far from Baghdad ahead of the Wild Weasels on the first night of Desert Storm, one hour after F-117s and cruise missiles bombarded the capital (H Hour +1). After establishing your CAP, you will be engaged by 2 of every aircraft the F15s faced that night, progressively escalating in difficulty with each new pair. In total, you will engage 8 enemy aircraft over the AAA-lit skies of Baghdad.

I based these off of photos from 2005-2006 around the 188th FW 184th FS Arkansas ANG. They got deployed in 2005 to Balad Air Base, they deployed 12 F-16C's. 86-0279 is the F-16 with the Red Tail. I also went a little crazy and every pilot in game has the correct corresponding rank on their uniform, as well as every plane has the correct "City of" on the back tail.

This is the singleplayer, Growling Sidewinder remake of the Operation Ilois multiplayer mission, which can be found at https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3342387/.

Operation Ilois was a secret, off-the-books, Special Boat Service mission to capture four Taliban commanders in the Lower Sangin Valley in Helmand Province in 2006. The mission was a failure and the SBS convoy was ambushed by 70+ fighters on its return leg. Out in the open with only irrigation ditches for cover, the SBS and Special Recon Regiment fought for over an hour while a make-shift Quick Reaction Force was dispatched from Gereshk some 10 miles south of them. Nearby air assets - namely British Harriers and American A-10s - were re-tasked to provide Close Air Support.
